Jesus
First is a rapidly-growing movement within The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. We believe
Christ has called the church to be Gospel-centered,
mission-driven,
and future-oriented.
We know thousands of people in the LCMS are
concluding that church and ministry values important to them are
no longer being expressed by major segments of church leadership. We want the Gospel to remain
first in our personal faith and in our relationships with each
other. We call on all church leaders to make sure Jesus' way of
love and mission to others remains the highest priority in the
life and ministries of the whole church.
